I have been in the medical field for twenty years. I have certifications in many aspects of the field including medical assisting, phlebotomy, medical coding and billing, administration and business management. I have always had a passion for dentistry and decided to pursue that avenue in 2014. I went back to school again for dental assisting. I assisted for almost two years and then decided to take management route again. I absolutely love my staff here at Value Smiles and adore my patients. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my two beautiful daughters and my family.
I started dentistry in 1996. I attended Atlanta Metropolitan college and received an associate degree in business management but quickly decided that I didn’t want to pursue a career in business. I decided to go to Medix college and there is where I earned my associate degree in Dental Assisting. After completing my studies I started working in the dental field and never looked backed. My patient often tell me that they can tell that I enjoy my job because of how engaged I am. I quickly respond by saying yes I do because I picked my Job, my job didn’t pick me.When I am not working I like to spend time with my family shopping, going to the movies and enjoying the beach.
I started my interest in the Dental field early in high school. As an honor student, I enjoyed learning and having hands on experience with diverse science subjects, especially those concerning the human anatomy. I truly enjoy this wonderful team at Value Smiles and outstanding group of patients. I love building relationships with our patients and contributing to an experience that makes them leave with a bigger smile than when they walked in. I got married in October 2015.1 love my married life and love spending time with my husband. In my free time I enjoy hiking and spending time with family.

I began my dental career in March 2016. I graduated from Dental Career Institute. I’m also a certified nurse’s assistant and went to school for medical billing and coding. I found that dentistry was more of a fit for me. I’m loving the dental field and can’t wait to see where my career takes me. I’m very friendly and outgoing. I love to spend time with my family and love all the support they’ve given me to pursue my career.
I have been a dental hygienist since 2008, graduating from West Central Technical College, Douglasville GA. I enjoy meeting my patients while making them feel comfortable and relaxed during their time with me. The best part of my job is when the patients leave with a smile on their face and feel good about coming back to our office. On my days off I spend time with my family, but the best time is spent with my two handsome grandsons Kolby, Logan, and beautiful granddaughter Piper. We all enjoy going to Lake Lanier boating, fishing having fun.
